This B Corp Month, B Corps will be inviting everyone ‘Behind the B’ to uncover what makes them better businesses.

So what’s behind the Bonomini B? We’ve always been different in our approach to hairdressing, investing in our people, and carving out a different path to the mainstream industry. But recently, we’ve decided to make that commitment official, and we are proud to be just a few steps away from gaining our B Corp certification – joining perhaps one of the most significant movements of our time.

So what does that mean, and how are we using our business as a force for good? Our sustainability pages highlight the better choices we have made – collaborating with local suppliers, investing in good energy, and partnering with some of the industry leaders to source sustainable colour and products.

But we are also excited about our recent projects – adopting ‘Visch technology’ to reduce our colour waste (a huge issue for the industry and the environment) and ensure transparency/gender equality and fairness in our pricing. We are also working on another initiative – encouraging the team to focus on their own growth and personal investment. We’ve teamed them up with Matcheable enabling them to take part in innovative volunteering projects, based on causes they care about and their skillsets.
