DAVINES – ON PROTECTION

Move over Olaplex, there’s a new kid in town! Davines has developed its latest innovation, On Protection. A scientifically developed, hair preserving concentrate, which ’reinforces colour protection and provides anti-oxidant and anti-free radical action for extremely protected, soft, shiny and elastic hair’.

Like Olaplex, Davines hair preserving concentrate can be used in two ways; as a stand-alone reinforcing beautifying treatment (an SOS rescue service for challenging hair) or, technically as an addition to colour services such as highlights and bleaches.

Our verdict
We love the extra shine it has given to our colours and the effect on strength and elasticity, that we’ve seen on clients damaged hair. We recommend using as a regular take-home treatment, to improve the overall hair condition and to counteract the daily stress from the use of hot tools, colouring and exposure to heat and the outside environment.
