With Bridal season nearly upon us, we thought we’d get our renowned bridal team to share their top tips for the day and give you a sneak preview of what it’s like to be a Bonomini Bride.

The beautiful top floor of our Georgian building is a wonderful place for our brides & their bridal party to create some special memories. Many bring their makeup artists and photographers and can relax in between having their hair styled on our comfy sofas.

Q: Lauren – what makes the Bonomini Bridal team so popular?
A: “The time and commitment that we give to each of our brides, we can create anything we are asked to but we love natural, simplistic, laid back hair. Hair should be classic and timeless even if based on the latest looks and trends, something you will still love when you look back at your wedding album in year’s to come.”

Q: Tell us about the Bonomini’s style
A: “We love disheveled bohemian styles and flower garlands; fresh flowers are the ultimate addition to a laidback look, which we love. More traditional styles can also look beautiful if created simply and elegantly, we like to give them a modern twist!”

Q: Kat – what things do you take into consideration when working with a bride on their wedding hair?
A: “The dress! The neckline, material, and style are all so important in relation to what we create. If the dress has lots of detailing then we often go back to basics with the hair and create a simple style to complement. If plainer then we can create a more complicated up-do. Theme and venue are also very important – everything should flow!’

Most of the bridal work we do is in salon but we happily travel to our bride’s venue, taking the team and their toolboxes.
